A successful candidate will have the following:

FH is seeking an IT Support Specialist for our IT Operations department. The qualified candidate will have 1 year of experience with providing tier 1 helpdesk support including but not limited to initial incident troubleshooting, processing account password resets and answering ‘how to’ questions. The top candidate will also have a high school diploma or GED and experience working in a Microsoft Windows and/or Apple Mac environmen.

Able to work in a fast-paced team environment and independently with attention to detail.

Able to work in a formal process structured environment and to plan and coordinate work.

Promoting a relational work environment with a focus on customer service.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of common information technologies and systems.

Understanding of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

What you’ll do…

As the IT Support Specialist, you will:

Performs initial triage/resolution and or escalation of new service requests in alignment with IT service level standards.

Accurately records, updates and/or closes service requests in the ticket system according to IT service level standards.

Assists with maintaining computer equipment and software license inventories.

Assists with user account administration activities.

Initiates and tracks warranty service repair requests.

Initiates orders for new computer equipment and supplies, tracks shipments and ensures receipt of all equipment, including placement of asset tags.

Packs and ships computer equipment to other FH offices or for virtual employees.

Helps maintain department process documentation for new hires and employee off-boarding.

Assists team members with placement and removal of computer equipment.

Assists with administrative duties and special projects as needed.

Assists with updating training materials and procedures.

Assists by providing administrative support during customer-impacting service issues.
