Position Overview:

 

The Temporary HR Coordinator will help support onboarding and recruiting functions for our retail stores, contact center and fulfillment centers during our peak season.

Position Details:

The position is expected to run from August until the beginning of December.

 

Work Environment: 

At Duluth Trading Company, we fundamentally believe in strong in-person interactions as our culture thrives when we learn, create, and collaborate with each other. This position will require some weekend support.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in new hire onboarding functions as needed, including background checks, drug screens, and required onboarding documents to ensure timely completion 
  • Maintain ongoing communications with candidates and partners through the process to ensure completion of tasks and attendance at orientation
  • Ensure that all I-9 documentation is completed and follow up as needed
  • Schedule and conduct virtual or face-to-face interviews with potential candidates
  • Update tracking logs for # of openings and # of filled positions
  • Coordinate schedule for new hire orientation and follow-up w/candidate on details
  • Create and present offer letters to candidates
  • Completion of special assignments and projects as assigned

What We’re Looking For: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Equivalent work experience would be considered
  • Unwavering integrity and confidentiality with employee and company information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, self-motivated
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of HRIS and reporting, able to review and analyze data
  • Attention to detail to review and analyze information Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt styles to different audiences

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

 

Compensation: $20/hour

 

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
