THE OPPORTUNITY

The ISIT Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Must have experience with SAP Production Planning - SAP PP


  • Collaborate with IT and business staff to understand the needs and challenges of the organization.


  • Analyze existing IT systems and business models; map and document interfaces between legacy and new systems.


  • Translate business requirements into system requirements and detailed specifications.


  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems.


  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.


  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements-verbally or through written documentation-to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.


What you'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of information technology and its application to solve business problems.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and business case development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing.


Location:

Our team is spread globally but our two largest hubs are in Schaumburg, IL, and Decatur IL. This role is to be based in either our Schaumburg or Decatur offices.
