Medical Records Clerk
Kington, New York 
$18 Hr.
Monday-Friday
Shift: 8AM-5PM

What’s the Job?

 

  • Scanning patient records.
  • Preparing patient charts.
  • Incoming/outgoing faxes.
  • Record releases.
  • Obtaining records(calling physicians, utilizing record portals, EMR)
  • Obtaining X-ray's from Fluroscan machine.
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Checking triage bins.
  • Importing N2N triages into patient's charts.
  • Importing lab exceptions into patient's charts. 
  • Adhering to HIPAA regulations and guidelines. 

 

What’s Needed?

  • Medical records experience.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Courteous and personable manner.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Ability to use fax machine.
  • Basic computer experience.
  • EMR experience.
