Your Role at Baxter THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results As a Pharmacy Sales Specialist, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes. Location to live: Connecticut What you'll be doing:
- Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of our pharmacy portfolio which includes disposables, premix and nutritional products and services
- Calling on hospital customers with a primary focus on the pharmacy department, mastering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate customer prices
- Monitoring sales against forecasts, implementing sales strategies to attain sales volume and participating in the determination of market potential for the territory
- Working closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Providing customer feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing policy, product and pricing
- Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities
- Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience or 6+ years of relevant experience
- Previous hospital pharmacy sales experience is a plus
- Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
- Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
- Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
- Demonstrate an eye for business and strong knowledge of sales processes
- Candidate must live within the Territory
