Job Description and Qualifications

Job Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer accounts as well as to increase sales and coordinate sales data with operations personnel.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded sales in area.

2. Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to support or develop new markets.

3. Develop new and maintain existing customer accounts.

4. Provide customer service and communication.

5. Coordinate sales with operations.

6. Maintains, reviews and revises costs.

7. Pass on price adjustments to all customers.

8. Establish and monitor sales reporting as needed.

9. Increase sales for installation and service.

10. Works with management to improve sales and service.

11. Provide analysis and planning to maintain and develop competitive position.

12. Perform or supervise all sales administrative functions.

13. Understand and practice company data processing procedures.

14. Maintain and practice company safety policies and procedures.

15. Maintain customer satisfaction.

16. Assist DC's with training and operations where needed.

17. Assist in the development of an annual Individual Development Plan (IDP) and meet all training targets as spelled out in the IDP and by corporate goals.

18. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must perform work in non-climate controlled conditions.

2. Moderate travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. College education or related skills

2. 2 - 3 years sales experience

3. Valid driver's license

4. Clear and effective written and oral communication skills

5. Organizational, time management and analytical skills

6. PC/Windows skills
