Human Resource Dimensions is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager for a client in Norcross, GA. This is a unique, progressive local wire and cable distributor with a national scope.

This position is established to provide support of the sales and customer service efforts of the company. Duties include back-up of the sales team, developing customer price quotations, logistical maintenance, technical support and market evaluation.  This person will be expected to facilitate communications with both customers and suppliers. Included in these responsibilities will be a working knowledge of established wire and cable standards along with understanding customer requirements matched to manufacturer capabilities.  Proper application of all aspects of good customer service is required.  This individual must be able to function with minimal direct supervision while working with the other members of the team in achieving the company’s goals and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Quote prices and availability of products and follow-up all quotes.
  • Receive and process customer inquiries/orders in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate assistance from vendors to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Maintain status of orders and address all customer concerns that may require attention.
  • Perform in a team environment by functioning as support for all team members to meet company objectives and achieve personal goals.
  • Gain the necessary knowledge to become familiar with all aspects of our vendor’s product lines.
  • Understand sales policies and procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree with prior customer service and/or sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, along with exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Wire and Cable basics is desired.
  • Proven initiative and demonstrated drive in sales field.
  • Independent decision-making skills exemplifying good business acumen and ethics.
  • Accuracy focused and detail-oriented
  • Proven accountability, dependability, and consistent follow-through with customer needs.
