Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established biotech company in the Durham area recruit a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a 1 year contract opportunity working on 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Lab Technician will set up and operate laboratory equipment
Lab Technician will measure raw materials following batch records
Lab Technician will also be performing tests on materials
Lab Technician will assist with receiving shipments and logging in samples
Lab Technician will monitor inventory levels including performing cycle counts
Lab Technician will be responsible for preparing cleaning solutions as well as sanitizing glassware and lab equipment
Requirements:
Candidates must have previous experience working in a laboratory setting
Must have strong knowledge of sterile technique
Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently
Candidates must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and standing for entire duration of shift
Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
