Seattle, United States Amazon Full time
Sr. Technical Product Manager, Amazon Business WW

Do you have experience driving critical cross-organizational programs? Are you equally comfortable digging into business requirements as drilling into technical design and architecture? Are you passionate about software development? Do you want to be part of a worldwide brand that’s grown to $35 billion in revenue in just over eight years?

The Business-to-Business (B2B) market is ripe for innovation, and Amazon Business (www.amazon.com/business) is reshaping buying in the B2B world by using technology to help our customers streamline their procurement and purchasing operations and turn them into value drivers for their organizations. Our more than five million customers operate across geographies and industries and include 96 of the top Fortune 100 companies. Visit our homepage or LinkedIn Page to learn more.

Key Job Responsibilities:

This Senior Technical Product Manager will own and drive operational and delivery experience initiatives relating to Amazon Business with the aim of providing a world-class experience to business customers. You will drive the long-term vision through the development of vision documents (PRFAQs), definition of business requirements, launch, and post-launch measurement. You will also serve as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests and implement scalable solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The right candidate will possess a strong product management background and will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done. As a Sr. PM-T, you will lead high-impact projects, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  3. Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product
  4. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  5. Experience managing technical products or online services
  6. Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree
  2. Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
