Strategic Finance Manager for WW FBA Growth

Job Summary

Amazon's World-Wide Fulfillment By Amazon (WW FBA) organization is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to partner with WW FBA Product, Tech, and Operations leadership team and drive growth in this complex and fast-growing space.

This Finance professional will be responsible for stewarding our growth by providing strategic and operationally-minded leadership, navigating ambiguity, and challenging the status quo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting for your business area, understanding input drivers and validating integrity to influence strategic decision-making and planning.
  • Develop and implement forecast processes and best practices to improve accuracy and quickly identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prioritize Controllership, identifying, resolving, or providing guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues, improving controls to address financial risk and support frugality.
  • Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs, making thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
  • Communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
  • Collect and analyze data to develop insightful reports that drive business performance and cost reductions.
  • Exhibit social responsibility, actively recruiting bar-raising talent, continuously developing your team, and constructively mentoring the Finance community.
  • Identify and sponsor Finance-wide professional development and engagement initiatives that plan for the future and strengthen the global Finance community.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of finance work with progressively increasing levels of responsibility experience.
  • Experience in finance or a related analytical field.

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
