We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading our clinical pharmacy programs and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs to meet patient care needs
- Measure and report performance of clinical pharmacy programs
- Oversee the development of pharmacy staff to provide optimal patient care
- Assist the Director of Pharmacy in the management of clinical pharmacy programs and staff
- Consult and collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate, design, implement, monitor, and modify pharmacotherapy regimens
- Maintain knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact the Pharmacy profession
- Develop effective internal controls to promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws and program requirements
- Provide education and mentoring to pharmacy staff
- Responsible for oversight of clinical pharmacists and provides feedback and guidance throughout the year
- Serves as a member of the pharmacy leadership team and evaluates and/or provides input for the performance evaluation of pharmacy staff
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Residency training or extensive equivalent clinical experience required
- Board certification and specialty residency training strongly preferred
- Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required
Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 262-bed, full-service, acute care hospital serving Tarrant, Johnson, and Ellis counties in North Texas. We are an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Advanced Primary Heart Attack Center certified by The Joint Commission. We also were the first in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to receive the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses PRISM Award for exemplary practice of medical-surgical units.
