Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join their dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the Drug Utilization Management program to ensure the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications within the hospital.
- Facilitate and manage the hospital's pharmacy residency program, including precepting and mentoring residents, overseeing the program's curriculum and evaluation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, drug therapy monitoring, and therapeutic interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, medication safety, and guideline development, while serving as a resource and mentor to pharmacy staff to foster a culture of excellence in clinical pharmacy services.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards, as well as assist in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy initiatives.
- Graduate degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy or an equivalent pharmacy education program.
- Pharm.D. degree preferred, and completion of a postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency program required.
- Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting required, along with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of drug utilization management, residency program management, and clinical pharmacy services required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare environment essential.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the state of California necessary.
