About Our Company

We work at Midtown to inspire people to transform their lives-and we do our job well. Our members stay longer than any other major athletic club chain in North America because we are committed to providing resort-like environments, personal attention, and strong communities at every one of our clubs. We believe all three of those pillars start with attracting and growing rock star talent at every level of our organization.

  • Partner strategically with other departments - share project timelines, scope, updates, progress and milestones - to support extra-department workstreams.
  • Track inter-department inputs to ensure coordination.
  • Proactively communicate changes to scope and timeline, reporting and escalating to department leadership as needed.
  • Ensure the accurate and complete distribution and retention of all internal project communication, and review of external communications for accuracy.
  • Establish, maintain, and document regular inter-department meetings.
  • Plan and coordinate club-level information sessions.
  • Plan and execute intra and inter-department initiatives as required.
Project Manager requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in construction, design, communications, or related field.

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to work with multiple teams and projects at the same time.
  • PMP certification preferred.
Project Manager skills:
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills - team first attitude
  • Facilitation skills
  • Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy across complex workstreams
  • Knowledge of our core business activities (e.g. club operations, product, marketing, sales)
