About the Company:
As a Lead GNC Engineer, you will develop and optimize the simulation and flight control systems for their refuelable in-space transport vehicles. You'll drive spacecraft architecture, execute design trade studies, and implement guidance, navigation, and control systems throughout the GNC development cycle, from initial design to flight operations.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance mission performance for high-deltaV refuelable spacecraft.
- Rapidly prototype, test simulations, and flight algorithms.
- Develop tools and algorithms for trajectory optimization, including rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking.
- Select and integrate actuators and sensors for spacecraft attitude control.
- Conduct design and readiness reviews with a focus on technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 5+ years designing control systems for harsh environments.
- Expertise in guidance, navigation, control systems, and rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking.
- Proficiency in C/C++/Python/MATLAB/Simulink.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in engineering or physics.
- Experience with trajectory design tools and spacecraft operations.
