Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Director to lead our Sentinel Navigation Inertial Measurement System (NIMS) program in Woodland Hills, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) contract, ensuring all activities meet program requirements for cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day program management leadership to meet program objectives and financials.
  • Ensure all engineering, manufacturing, business management, mission assurance, and supply chain activities are executed to meet program requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve program performance.
  • Lead diverse teams and provide strong leadership and decision-making skills in an environment of ambiguity and continuous change.
  • Establish strong business relationships with customer leadership teams and create effective partnerships across functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or Master's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of management experience in Functional Management, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or Program Management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of EVMS and Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Demonstrated experience with New Business / Capture Management.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, or DoE Equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field, or Business Administration.
  • 15 years of related experience.
  • 10 years of management experience in Functional Management, Engineering Management, or Program Management.
  • Experience leading new product development and/or EMD programs.
  • Knowledge of strategic weapons systems and inertial navigation systems/sensors.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance, or DoE Equivalent.

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $198,200 - $297,200, as well as a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
