About this position:
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a leading role in identifying, qualifying, and creating new business opportunities to drive sales pipeline growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven history of effective, high-volume cold calling, coupled with a strong drive for constant improvement and innovative approaches within the realm of sales outreach. In this position, you will:
- Make 100+ outbound prospecting calls daily to potential clients, focusing on businesses that would benefit from Sales Gravy’s sales acceleration services.
- Utilize email, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms to generate leads and increase prospecting outreach.
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team.
- Maintain and manage an accurate, detailed prospect database using our CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve lead generation strategies.
- Become an expert at persuasively presenting Sales Gravy's core services, e-learning offerings, and the training curriculum catalog.
- Provide support to clients and prospects over the phone, email, and online chat.
- Other responsibilities as needed
What you’ll bring:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (sales development, business development, lead generation, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rejection positively.
- A robust work ethic and openness to feedback.
- CRM experience preferred
