Our client is looking for a Business Development Director in Thailand to join their exciting team About You: A natural problem-solver, you thrive in fast-paced environments where innovation meets opportunity. You’re not just a player; you’re a game-changer who can steer cross-functional teams toward commercially successful products that truly resonate with customers. Comfortable in ambiguity, you adapt swiftly to change, making insightful decisions with speed and clarity. Your analytical skills allow you to transform data into actionable insights, and no task is too small for you as you roll up your sleeves to drive results. Key Responsibilities: Dive deep into the payments landscape in Thailand, identifying and nurturing opportunities within the mobile payment sector, including e-wallets and direct debit solutions. You’ll spearhead partner onboarding and ensure compliance with business ethics and regulatory standards. Negotiate competitive pricing and marketing support with partners, deftly managing contracts, invoices, and settlements to foster strong, productive relationships. Keep a sharp eye on performance metrics, continuously seeking opportunities for optimization to enhance partner features and projects. Collaborate closely with APAC management to shape payment strategies that align with business objectives. Work alongside internal teams to finalize commercial agreements and technical integrations, ensuring seamless operations. Be the voice of the partners within the organization, representing their needs and building rapport with key decision-makers in carriers, eWallets, and merchants. Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, project management, or marketing, preferably within the payments or fintech sectors. Exceptional communication skills in both English and Thai, enabling you to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively. Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and fostering collaboration across internal and external teams. Experience in the mobile payment, eCommerce, or FinTech space is a strong plus, with a keen understanding of alternative payment methods.
