You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of production and manufacturing, so relevant experience in those areas is highly desired. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for managing the projects in support of production for both internal and external customers. This includes developing, managing, and reporting on resource-loaded schedules, production budgets, staffing needs, program risk, and variances to the plan. You will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and transparency of data to support program business systems, scheduling tools, budget systems, and production planning tools. The permanent location of this position is Merritt Island, Florida. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Project Schedule(s) within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Perform schedule baseline change control, collect, and track performance, conduct critical path and variance analyses Manage hardware status, supporting both internal and external demand Manage budgets and implementation of capital equipment and facility projects Lead planning and execution-centered process improvements to reduce cost, shorten cycle time, improve quality, and enhance safety through risk management Identify risk, document, communicate, develop mitigation plans and drive to an acceptable level Develop and support the maintenance of resource loaded schedule Manage program planning and execution including scope, scheduling, and resource allocation Communicate status, critical paths, challenges, and recommended solutions Identifying project dependencies, risks, and schedule impacts. Support Production Readiness Reviews (PRR) Collaborate with purchasing and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and production equipment Reduce and close risks and identify opportunities Supporting facilities master planning and company multi-year/strategic planning Track key program metrics (and associated reporting tools) in areas such as: budget, engineering schedules, equipment schedules, procurement schedules, production schedules, program management status reports, and resource plans Supporting facilities master planning and company multi-year/strategic planning Lead key business analytics initiatives, as required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) 4+ years’ experience leading projects Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) in technical work environments Formal program/project management training Experience managing complex datasets, spreadsheets, and data dashboards Experience with logic-linked scheduling and cost-account management Experience in budget management and reporting Analytical, organization, and problem solving skills Experience leading multidisciplinary development projects, including managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio) Experience with Primavera (P6), MS Project or similar project management software Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Experience with risk management Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
