Key Responsibilities
As a Structural Steel Project Manager, your daily tasks will encompass:
- Overseeing all facets of structural steel projects, from initial planning through to final delivery.
- Collaborating closely with our team of professionals, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient execution and adherence to the highest standards.
- Conducting site visits, coordinating with engineers and architects, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilizing your problem-solving skills to address any unforeseen challenges that may arise.
- Reviewing project plans meticulously to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
To excel in the role of Structural Steel Project Manager, you should possess:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry, with a comprehensive understanding of structural steel projects.
- Proficiency in project management software, including Tekla, Fabtrol, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
- The ability to create detailed project plans outlining scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
- Experience in monitoring project expenses to maintain budgetary control.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes.
