The renowned Butler Hospital is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to lead our Senior Treatment Unit in Providence, Rhode Island. The Senior Treatment Unit provides comprehensive care and support for adults ages 65 and over who have a variety of psychiatric conditions. These conditions include memory disorders, such as Alzheimers disease, depression, anxiety, and other cognitive disorders that may cause behavioral difficulties.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Inpatient focused on a 20-bed unit with optional outpatient and dedicated admin time 
  • Average of 10 patients per day
  • Monday through Friday with rotational call
  • Teaching/Academic time with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired)
  • Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
