We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Psychiatrist to lead our Senior Treatment Unit at Butler Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and support to adults aged 65 and over who are experiencing a range of psychiatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our 20-bed Senior Treatment Unit, providing inpatient care and support to patients with complex psychiatric needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of our patients, including those with memory disorders, depression, anxiety, and other cognitive difficulties.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
- Participate in teaching and academic activities with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows, if desired.
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness and visa sponsorship available.
- Competitive base salary and generous benefit package, including CME, malpractice insurance coverage, and employer retirement match program.
- Potential growth into Unit Chief role.
