We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Psychiatrist to lead our Senior Treatment Unit at Butler Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care and support for adults ages 65 and over with psychiatric conditions, including memory disorders, depression, anxiety, and cognitive disorders.
- Lead a 20-bed inpatient unit with optional outpatient and dedicated administrative time.
- Manage an average of 10 patients per day, Monday through Friday, with rotational call.
- Teach and mentor Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired).
- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
- Competitive base salary and generous benefit package, including CME, malpractice insurance coverage, and employer retirement match program.
Founded in 1844, Butler Hospital is the state's only non-profit, free-standing psychiatric hospital providing adults, seniors, and adolescents with specialized assessment and treatment for all major psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse.
