Job Title: Patient Advocate Assistant

Job Description:

  • As a Patient Advocate Assistant at Butler Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
  • You will assist registered nurses in providing direct care to patients, focusing on activities of daily living and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit.
  • Through your role modeling, you will embody the standards of performance that guide our team's behavior.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social sciences is preferred, or equivalent experience in behavioral health.
  • You will have experience working with mentally ill and developmentally delayed clients, and possess excellent written and communication skills.

Certification: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, with a 2% pay differential available for active license holders.

Schedule: This part-time position requires evening shifts every other weekend.
