The Customer Service Associate position plays a key role in establishing and developing strong working relationships with customers as well as respective retail partners selling David Donahue product. This role will be responsible for entering and organizing wholesale customer orders and processing changes as needed. In addition, they will be responsible for responding to eCommerce customer emails and phone calls pertaining to our website, product experience, return inquiries, and order status. The Customer Service Associate will work to prevent and/or resolve customer issues with the goal of achieving 100% customer satisfaction, attain first contact resolution, and build customer loyalty and brand awareness by providing outstanding service. This role is an entry level position with the intent to learn the business and potentially grow within the organization long term.
• Responsible for customer inquiries via phone and email with relation to product availability, order status, and website experience
• Handle operational work including customer data entry, purchase orders, fulfillment, order tracking, and return processing among others
• Oversee and approve customer returns by having a comprehensive understanding of our return guidelines
• Implement strong critical thinking skills, immense attention to detail, and use due diligence to problem solve
• Identify and respond to the needs of customers in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner
• Liaise with Production & Sales Team with seasonal sample receiving & shipping
• Work as a resource to Sales Team for up-to-date information regarding product availability in warehouse, as well as sales order shipping updates
• Assist in various tasks to ensure the efficiency of our daily functions within our warehouse
• Act as a subject matter expert for all company policies and procedures
• Bachelor’s degree required; Fashion Merchandising degree preferred
• Previous Retail/Wholesale Fashion experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Possesses a professional demeanor and sense of urgency to handle day-to-day tasks
• Demonstrates the ability to be self-motivated with a curiosity to acquire further knowledge and skill sets within a wholesale environment
Salary: Commensurate with experience
