Accounts Payable Associate

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Associate for our well-established client in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with prior experience working in Accounts Payable. This position offers flexible hours and is onsite Monday-Friday.



Job Responsibilities:

Fulfill, reconcile, and enter invoices for Purchase Order and Non-Purchase order vendors. Organization and entry of invoices against purchase order.
Organization and entry of payments, including check runs for priority and general vendors as well as ACH and wire payment batches.
Resolve discrepancies between vendor invoicing and purchase orders.
Work closely with other accounting personnel, purchasing and field personnel to resolve any issues related to voucher processing, including coding, pricing, and receipt of goods.
Contact external vendors regarding invoicing issues.
Vendor maintenance, including PO Module and accounting system.
Organization of files, including paper and electronic files.
Maintain documentation and support for financial records.
Statement Reconciliation.
Handle special projects and other tasks and duties as needed.



Job Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and related functions.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to develop productive relations with responsible parties.
Ability to function independently as a member of a team in a multi-task environment.
Must have excellent organization, project and time management skills.
ERP systems experience
Proficient in the use of computers and associated software including Microsoft Excel.
Ability to communicate clearly and productively both verbally and through written communications.
