In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments are made.Responsibilities:
  1. Process and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Code invoices and track expenses in accordance with the company's accounting system.
  3. Maintain vendor files and ensure all necessary information is up-to-date.
  4. Reconcile accounts payable statements monthly.
  5. Prepare checks and initiate electronic payments to vendors.
  6. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.
  7. Assist with month-end closing procedures.
  8. Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 7 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Past experience working with an ERP tool is a must.
  5. Must have experience paying 1099 contractors.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
