Job Title: Project Engineer


Company Description: Froelich Engineers has been providing on-budget, on-time engineering services for over 35 years to owners, contractors, engineers, and developers. Headquartered in SW Portland, Oregon, the company has expanded to Bend, Oregon, and more recently to Denver, Colorado, to offer exceptional civil and structural engineering services to clients nationwide. Froelich Engineers is comprised of a team of creative structural and civil engineers who collaboratively approach each project to design solutions that exceed client expectations.


Role Description: This full-time role is for a Civil Engineer located on-site in Portland, OR. The Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with civil engineering design, roadway design, land development, stormwater management, and other civil engineering-related tasks.


Qualifications:

- Experience in civil engineering design, roadway design, land development, stormwater management, and other civil engineering-related tasks

- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong technical writing and communication skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software

- Experience with design standards and regulations for the Portland Metro area

- Experience with multi-disciplinary coordination on engineering projects

- PE preferred, but not necessary

- Driven, outgoing individuals who excel when working alongside other team members and clients

- Experience in the Pacific Northwest


The ideal candidate for this position will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to tackle a variety of tasks. This candidate will work closely with the head of the department, assisting with project management, document production, and client relations. Individuals with 2 to 8 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
