We are looking for a skilled SQL Database Administrator with a strong background in managing and optimizing databases to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and performance of our SQL databases. This role requires expertise in SQL database technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to database management.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases

- Monitor database performance and optimize as needed

- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans

- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution

- Collaborate with software developers to optimize database queries

- Implement security measures to protect the database from unauthorized access

- Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations

- Participate in capacity planning and scalability decisions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator

- Strong knowledge of SQL database management systems

- Experience with database design and implementation

- Understanding of database security best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Additional Requirements:

- Must be located in the United States

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Certification in database administration is a plus
