Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Chemical Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting our company's compliance with chemical regulations and advocating for our interests related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze global regulations and legislation related to chemical substances, with a focus on non-US markets.
Develop and distribute alerts to keep internal stakeholders informed of critical regulatory updates.
Utilize internal software tools to track and manage chemical substances throughout the regulatory lifecycle.
Advocate on behalf of the company with key North American agencies (via trade associations) on EPR issues related to chemical substances.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop the company's position on critical EPR topics.
Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant regulations and their impact on the automotive industry.
Prepare clear and concise reports to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
Utilize MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiently.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Apply strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
Maintain excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with chemical regulations in the consumer products or durable goods industries (preferably automotive).
Strong understanding of global chemical regulations and legislation.
Proven ability to analyze complex information and prepare clear reports.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
