PBS is seeking a bilingual (Spanish speaking) billing/authorization coordinator for our HQ office in Woodland Hills.

Job Description:

The billing/authorization coordinator job duties includes the following, but is not limited to:

► Intake service specialist

►Program coordination

►Eligibility coordinator

► Verify insurance eligibility regularly, intake coordination and enrollment of new clients

► Monitor authorization deadlines, submit and monitor new authorizations and re-authorizations for ongoing services
► Complete and submit all required documentation/reports to payers to facilitate authorization process in a timely manner and within allotted authorization deadlines
► Communicate any issues with authorization with billing department lead prior to current authorization expiration
► Schedule new client assessment appointments with predetermined deadlines by being super organized and detail oriented

►Process medical records requests as needed

►Prepare weekly billing claims and submit to funding sources

►Monitor, follow up, and report account receivables to billing department head for re-submissions as needed

►Enforce agency's treatment utilization policies

► Assist with other billing duties as needed on a weekly basis

QUALIFICATIONS

► Minimum of medical billing certificate completion

►Experience in behavioral health (ABA) billing a plus, but not required

►Proficiency in data entry

►Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

►Bilingual in Spanish required
