Human Resources Generalist

SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing functional support for the HR activities at Holliday Rock. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, payroll, and benefits administration. Additionally, the HR Generalist will assist with time keeping, perform leave administration, sourcing/recruiting, and day to day HR operations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with leadership on processes and procedures to design compensation packages and bonus programs that align with the company’s strategic plan.
· Maintains employee files; audits regularly to ensure compliance.
· Focuses on driving flawless execution of the basics related to HR and supports improvements and initiatives that move toward HR's vision.
· Understands federal, state and local legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
· Administers processes to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
· Ensures accurate data is maintained and processes are followed that result in such data
· Communicates and directs successful implementation of all corporate HR activities assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
· High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent experience preferred
· 2 years of experience in the HR field preferred
· Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
· HR legal and compliance knowledge including EEO, ADA, FMLA
· Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment.
· Knowledge of UKG preferred
· Demonstrated successful ability to write reports & business correspondence
