Job Description
As the Senior Director, of Programs P2P, you'll play a critical role in achieving our goals by developing and implementing strategic plans and activities. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive fundraising initiatives, all while ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
Strategic Planning and Implementation:
* Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies for our peer-to-peer programs.
* Align these strategies with our organizational mission and vision.
* Continuously assess and adjust plans based on internal and external factors.
Program Management:
* Oversee all aspects of peer-to-peer fundraising programs on both national and regional levels.
* Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals.
Stakeholder Communication:
* Effectively communicate with internal teams, external partners, and donors.
* Foster strong relationships to enhance fundraising efforts.
* Present complex information clearly and concisely.
Leadership and Prioritization:
* Balance high-level organizational priorities while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
* Lead and inspire a team of professionals to achieve fundraising targets.
* Make data-driven decisions to optimize program performance.
Qualifications:
* National Peer to Peer fundraising strategy experience, innovation, and staff development.
* Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, particularly within peer-to-peer strategies.
* Familiarity with donor engagement, stewardship, and retention.
* Strategic Thinker:
* Ability to develop and execute long-term plans aligned with organizational goals.
* Comfortable adapting strategies as needed based on changing circumstances.
* Management Skills:
* Thorough understanding of general management principles.
* Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and special events fundraising.
* Communication Proficiency:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
* Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (8+ years) in a relevant field.
