About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our Premier Industrial Products Portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy for our product management team, including marketing and sales initiatives for industry segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product development plans, including marketing communication, training, and sales initiatives for industry segments.
  • Lead a product management team to define and drive marketing and sales strategies for our Premier Industrial Products Segment.
  • Maximize Gross Margin dollars for the identified ELIP product segment, optimizing the price/margin/share/sales equation.
  • Define key targets (e.g. volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensure these are achieved for the segment(s).
  • Identify key market segments and market trends and ensure detailed business/sales plans are in place with regular follow up.
  • Understand and manage the P&L for the Premier Industrial Products Segment; leads improvement thru margin growth and cost improvement activities.
Requirements
  • BS in Business, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or equivalent + MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Sales in Products sold into Industrial related markets, with Electrical products related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership of product management teams, including leading cross functional teams.
  • Sound knowledge of and experience in Electrical & Industrial markets; experience in specific Thomas & Betts branded products preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of managing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience of SFDC, SAP and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Current US license valid in US and/or US related permit.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
