We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join a team in the industrial construction sector. This individual will focus on growing opportunities in both new and existing markets, including but not limited to pulp & paper, power, metals, and chemicals. The role involves creating and executing measurable marketing and sales strategies aimed at securing construction and maintenance services for clients within the assigned market.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel as needed. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing the company's market acquisition efforts and collaborating with the business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a targeted, measurable business development plan for the assigned markets and region.
  • Organize and manage customer relationship management (CRM) efforts.
  • Research and prioritize potential new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to assess market health and provide direction on business development strategies.
  • Participate in networking events such as tradeshows and industry conferences to build connections.
  • Create proposals and presentations with support from the Vice President of Business Development.
  • Provide advice, strategy, and leadership in planning for prospective and current clients.
  • Collaborate with operations and departments to ensure the sales process meets client needs from initial outreach to final close.
  • Demonstrate and promote company values and principles.
  • Follow and uphold company Code of Conduct.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for ensuring safety protocols are followed, and reporting hazards or incidents immediately.
  • Required to wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with safety rules and instructions at all times.
