Service Coordinator

Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly
Job Summary:
The Service Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact between our service team and clients. This role involves scheduling and coordinating service requests, managing customer communication, and ensuring that service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients requesting service.
- Address customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments for field technicians.
- Manage and prioritize service requests to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Communicate service schedules and updates to both clients and technicians.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, schedules, and client interactions.
- Prepare and distribute service reports, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the service team to ensure that all service requests are handled effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, accounting) to facilitate seamless service operations.
- Provide feedback to management regarding service trends, client concerns, and potential improvements.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and address any scheduling conflicts, service delays, or other issues that may arise.
- Proactively seek solutions to enhance service efficiency and client satisfaction.
Compliance:
- Ensure that all service activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in service coordination.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service coordinator, dispatcher, or similar role.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle high-stress situations.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with service management software.
- Understanding of the industry-specific standards and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
Work Environment
- This position is based in an office environment with regular hours.
- Occasional travel may be required to client sites or company locations.
