As a Specialist in Human Resources (HR), you will play a vital role in executing various HR initiatives and protocols for our workforce, focusing on recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Compensation and Benefits Overview.

The hourly wage for this position is $25.00. GXO, in good faith, believes this reflects the compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The final pay may vary and is subject to change. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Deliver HR support and customer service to employees
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process by assisting with new hire orientation
  • Organize job fair events
  • Maintain employee files, ensuring that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, confidential, and compliant with company policies
  • Manage leave programs, including tracking leave and ensuring FMLA compliance, as well as preparing necessary notification letters
  • Oversee the temporary employee conversion process, including the distribution and processing of evaluation forms and coordinating orientation
  • Audit and manage monthly HR invoicing, covering temporary employee payroll, pre-employment and post-accident testing, HR supplies, etc.
  • Coordinate and implement employee engagement programs, including bulletin boards, recognition initiatives, and communication memos
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources support or an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
It would be advantageous if you also possessed:
  • An associate degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues
