Call Center Customer Service Representative

FUNCTION:
1. Responsible for organizing the delivery and administration of home health care services that are provided by persons who take care of older Americans and disabled.
2. Ensure clients receive replacement workers as follow up to home health aide cancellations.
3. The scheduler notifies clients of the names of Home Health Aides and names of replacement Home Health Aides.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for assigning and scheduling Home Health Aides to clients according to the authorized Case Manager Service Plans.
2. Responsible for properly entering client and staff into plan of service into the agency’s computer program and updating it on a regular basis.
3. At beginning of day, finds substitute aides as needed for service cancellations.
4. The Scheduler provides the Home Health Aides with client specific information including assigned tasks prior to client care.
5. Records in ASR the Home Health Aides assigned to clients, the service delivery times to clients and updates as needed.
6. Notifies clients of the names of their assigned Home Health Aides and names of replacement Home Health Aides.
7. Builds relationships in a professional manner with clients to ensure quality service.
8. Ensures clients are agreeable to changes in the service schedule as needed for providing a substitute or temporary Home Health Aide.
9. Conducts self in accordance with HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
10. Documents required documentation in ASR.
11. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate.
2. Two years’ experience in Home Health profession preferred.
3. Must have the ability to work professionally and deal with people in a courteous
manner.
4. Must have the ability to exhibit an empathic attitude towards the sick, elderly, and
disabled.
5. Must have the ability to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions.
6. Must be a people-person and easy to approach.
7. Must be able to multi-task and display an incredible level of flexibility
8. Must be someone that has a keen eye for details to be able to avoid and/or rectify
conflicting schedules
9. Have knowledge of zip codes and scheduling home health aides to clients.
10. Must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
11. Computer literacy required.
12. Ability to speak English clearly and precisely.
13. Ability to sit for long periods at a time.
14. Documentation Skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
