Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Human Resources (HR) Manager for a growing client in the manufacturing industry located in Norcross, GA. The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department including hiring, training, administering pay, benefits, legal compliance, employee engagement, annual reviews, onboarding/offboarding employees, creating HR policies, and enforcing company policies and practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the list below. Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Acts as the primary liaison with 3rd party recruiters.
  • Ongoing development and primary oversight of employee onboarding/offboarding program/activities.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Partner with management team in achieving organizational goals.
  • Payroll processing and administration. (Paycor experience helpful)
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Expert knowledge in ATS, HRIS (Paycor)
  • Oversight of Employee Benefits & 401k Administration.
  • Maintain the pulse of the culture and manage employee engagement budget and activities.
  • Assisting the leadership team with ongoing training & development.
  • Audits and Legal Compliance: Ensuring policies and actions adhere to labor laws, creating and documenting policies to enforce compliance.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure that investment is made in a proactive safety culture with the goal of preventing injuries, incidents, and other issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
  • HR Certification: SHRM or HRCI
  • 7+ years in HR Management position.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven effective recruiting skills.
