Summary: International Paper is seeking a Sales Representative with experience in the corrugated box industry to manage a sales territory within a 250-mile radius of Yuma, AZ. The ideal candidate will have direct experience selling to agricultural commercial growers and be familiar with the Yuma territory. This role offers flexible work-from-home days with required travel to support customer interactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Professionally represent International Paper’s NAC business in the packaging marketplace, focusing on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Manage a sales territory by generating profitable sales through regular in-person interactions with prospective and existing customers.
  • Evaluate customer packaging needs and provide recommendations that align with regional and plant management directives.
  • Develop and implement Key Account Plans to grow the business with priority strategic accounts.
  • Make profitable decisions by applying knowledge of general business principles, internal financial management, and industry practices.
  • Identify and implement value propositions for customers through a deep understanding of IP corporate/business capabilities and resources.
  • Continuously assess market conditions, the competitive environment, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Travel to multiple customer sites/meetings weekly, spending 50% or more of the time in various environments, including client sites and trade events.
  • May act as an account team leader.

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture sales within the Yuma, AZ market.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Experience in the corrugated box industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong drive for results, action-oriented mindset, and technical skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

The ideal candidate is a sales professional with a background in selling corrugated packaging solutions to agriculture commercial growers. They should be familiar with the Yuma, AZ territory, have a proven track record of managing sales territories and possess strong customer relationship skills. The candidate should also be comfortable with frequent travel and flexible work arrangements.
