About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Representative who will be instrumental in managing and expanding a sales territory within the packaging sector. The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong customer relationships, generate profitable sales, and drive business growth through strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated sales territory by developing and nurturing strong customer relationships.

  • Generate profitable sales through regular, in-person interactions with both prospective and existing customers.

  • Assess customer packaging needs and provide tailored recommendations to meet their requirements.

  • Align sales efforts with regional and plant management objectives.

  • Drive business growth with key strategic accounts by developing and implementing comprehensive account plans.

  • Support profitable decision-making by applying knowledge of business principles, financial management, and industry practices.

  • Identify and implement value propositions for priority customers, leveraging company capabilities and resources.

  • Continuously monitor market conditions, assess the competitive landscape, and seek out opportunities for innovation.

  • Travel frequently to customer sites and participate in industry events (up to 50% of the time).

  • Potentially act as the leader of account teams when necessary.

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.

  • Agricultural sales experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
