The Opportunity

The Chief of Staff position reports to the director of business operations within the connected vehicle department and will directly work with and support the head of connected vehicle software. This position is responsible for driving actions, strategies, and ensuring clear and frequent communication to align teams.

What you'll do...

  1. Re-define a vision, strategy and set of KPIs for this function – specification, development, deployment, quality, and operations.
  2. Drive delivery discipline and best practices through the organization.
  3. Ensure projects and upgrades are delivered robustly and on time.
  4. Recruit, assign, develop and direct a diverse multi-disciplined skill team.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  1. 5 years working in an associated field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in a role transforming a large multi-disciplined organization focused on delivery.
  3. 2+ years experience driving actions to closure with a bias for action.
  4. 2+ years experience in clear and consistent communications across business, product and technical teams.
  5. 2+ years experience with communications plans, to ensure alignment at all levels.
  6. 2 years experience with Project or program management experience.

  1. Deep understanding of mobility solutions spanning hardware, embedded software, apps and clouds.
  2. Excellent communication skills both up and down the organization.
  3. Critical Thinking: Demonstrated examples of applying systemic thinking, logic, and reasoning skills.

  5. Strategic thinking: Demonstrated examples of driving strategy from concept through to implementation.
