Being part of SEARHC is not just a job; it is a rewarding career path. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes retirement plans, paid time off, parental leave, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, as well as short and long-term disability coverage.
Role Overview:
As the Chief Nursing Executive, you will oversee and manage the Nursing and Patient Care Services to ensure that we meet the highest standards of medical and nursing care. You will establish and implement the nursing framework, assess administrative and clinical nursing practices within the Consortium, and initiate necessary changes. Your responsibilities will include preparing justifications and cost-benefit analyses, reviewing expenditures, and overseeing the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.

You will monitor operations and implement changes as required, collaborating with the Director of Performance Improvement to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements. You will also oversee the preparation and maintenance of nursing records, reports, and statistics in line with administrative policies and The Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minimum of 10 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 5 years in progressive nursing leadership roles. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage patient interactions effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing operations.
- Ability to lead and mentor staff while fostering collaborative relationships with healthcare team members.
- Capability to articulate a clear nursing vision and develop strategies that align with SEARHC's mission and objectives.
- Decisions made in this role will be based on scientific reasoning and analytical skills, with a focus on patient and family welfare.
- Ability to function independently and take responsibility for decisions made.
- Understanding of when to escalate issues to hospital administration.
