We are seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to join our team at Regal Rexnord. Our mission is to create a better tomorrow with sustainable solutions that power, transmit, and control motion. In this role, you will lead the North America electronics engineering team in designing motor drive and control products for performance motion control systems. You will oversee the hardware development from architecture definition to board design, verification, validation, and product launch. As an experienced leader, you will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering their growth and enhancing team performance.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  1. Lead a diverse design team, comprising of electrical, FPGA, and mechanical engineers.
  2. Drive the technology development to meet product requirements.
  3. Guide the engineering team in rapidly developing prototypes and iterating to deliver market-ready products.
  4. Oversee the hardware design process, including architecture, board design, prototype, verification, validation, and product launch.
  5. Encourage new technological advancements while ensuring timely project execution.
  6. Champion and develop standardized processes within the engineering team to enhance efficiency and consistency globally.
  7. Utilize Kaizen to drive continuous improvement to engineering processes and systems - never settling for 'good enough'.
  8. Build and cultivate an exceptional engineering team, mentoring future leaders.
  9. Foster an execution-oriented mindset, helping the team achieve goals on time by identifying risks, addressing potential roadblocks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  10. Build and maintain global cross-functional relationships to support the overall technology and product vision.

Minimum Requirement:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  2. 10+ years of experience designing digital, analog, or power electronics PCBAs from concept through production; experience with FPGAs preferred.
  3. 5+ years of experience serving in a managerial, technical lead, or project manager role for hardware development projects.
  4. Experience managing multi-site engineering teams is preferred.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  6. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Details:
$104K - 163K

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
