Chef de Cuisine

 

 

As the Chef de Cuisine at Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll lead our culinary team with creativity, precision, and a commitment to culinary excellence. From menu development to kitchen operations, you'll oversee every aspect of our culinary program to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead menu development, ensuring culinary offerings are innovative, on-trend, and reflective of our brand.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to foster a culture of culinary excellence and teamwork.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients and products.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our culinary program.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
  • Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary management or a related field, demonstrating leadership and operational skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times by adhering to the establishment's dress code standards, ensuring a polished and professional image is presented to guests.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of culinary creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse culinary team to achieve common goals.
  • Experience with menu development, costing, and inventory management.
  • Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene practices.

 

 

Working Conditions:
