Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Review and prepare menus and food-production instructions, ensuring that meals are nutritious, appetizing, and attractively presented.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Oversee the preparation and serving of food, adhering to strict food safe handling procedures and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Team Leadership: In the absence of the Executive Chef, oversee the food service staff and overall kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, including menu planning, ordering, receiving, invoice processing, inventory management, and end-of-month reporting.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry or full-service restaurant cooking.
