The Consulting Associate, Training and Communications supports Federal clients in large, complex homeland security and emergency management. They have at least 3 years of experience in strategic communications and training in a project-oriented environment. They lead workstreams, develop curriculum and deliver training, develop communications projects, collaborate with senior clients and teammates, support stakeholders nationwide, and seek leadership and professional development opportunities. They have experience in designing, developing, and providing training and supporting stakeholders with a range of communications on highly visible programs. They have outstanding writing and oral communication and facilitation skills. They can independently develop training programs and participate on collaborative teams, providing trusted advice to clients and stakeholders.

Arc Aspicio is currently working in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely on a part-time basis. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a training plan to educate stakeholders about how emerging technologies and program solutions can address their needs
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop training materials and deliver training, online and recorded
  • Maintain repositories for training and communications so the program can continuously improve its materials to support the mission
  • Develop and execute a strategic communications plan for stakeholder outreach and training opportunities
  • Create targeted outreach and communication materials to inform and teach stakeholders about relevant program and technology topics
  • Engage with stakeholders regarding the applicability, value, and adoption of emerging technology in meeting their needs
  • Contribute towards our learning culture, where people put team, client, and company interest ahead of their own, by demonstrating interest in supervising and supporting the growth of others
  • Take advantage of company opportunities to develop leadership and consulting skills and thrive in a fast growth environment
Required Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in developing and delivering training, strategic communications planning and execution, and outreach to stakeholders
  • Experience working in a complex project environment, preferably with Federal government clients (or in similarly complex environments)
  • Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership skills and outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in the Washington DC metro area on multiple project sites, with occasional attendance at conferences or stakeholder events
  • Excellent skills in strategic communications and ability to create compelling presentations and communicate with stakeholders
  • Strong interest in working in a consulting firm and entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn business concepts
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with others and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Desire to join a company and team and stay for the long-term, gaining more leadership and supervisory responsibility
  • Excellent work ethic in a dynamic, complex, and challenging environment and self-motivated with the ability to take on more responsibility quickly

Total Rewards:

Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
