Our client, a hyper-growth SaaS startup, is expanding their team and seeking a Human Resources Specialist. This role is essential in providing effective HR support, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture as they scale operations in both their NYC & LA offices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and distribution of offer letters and employment agreements.
- Plan and organize company-wide events, including team-building and employee engagement activities.
- Administer and maintain employee benefits and assist with inquiries.
- Support performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement in HR policies and processes.
- Complete special projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
- Address manager and employee inquiries with transparency and responsiveness.
- Perform regular data entry and management within HR platforms.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, offboarding, and background check processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR role, ideally within a tech or fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred,
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in a startup environment strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Workday, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, case, and knowledge management tools).
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment and handle ambiguity.
- Must be able to commute to the New York or Los Angeles office 2-3 times per week
