Ratcliff Companies has an exciting opportunity for a high energy, self-disciplined, extremely organized Business Development professional to join our growing business  Business Development is tasked with creating and implementing a growth strategy plan.  Develop and administer the marketing and sales plans to successfully grow the business and partnerships within identified regions.  Must be a highly self-disciplined and organized as this career is tasked with seeking out prospects, setting appointments, and managing leads to yield new and continued partnerships for the organization.  Responsible to conduct and present risk assessments and analysis of impact of potential growth strategies.  Must be capable of work covering the DFW territory, along with travel ability across the Gulf South as this role may require overnight travel.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Compile contact leads for emergency property damage recovery, remediation, and restoration.
  • Meet or exceed the annual performance metrics.
  • Managing the sales proposal cycle from initial client contact to post-contract and/or job completion.
  • Seeks out and builds relationships while acting as a liaison between company, customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Active participation in business proposal and response development.
  • Providing required reports, reviews, and attending necessary meetings.
  • Proactively analyzes geographical areas and potential disaster cycles to forecast and make necessary contact relationships.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction, or related discipline preferred.


Experience: 5+ years’ experience within the disaster recovery and restoration industry.  3+ Years of sales experience, construction sales, or real estate a plus with emphasis desired of minimal 2+ years of experience in management. 


Physical Requirements: General office duties with prolonged driving expectations.  Overnight travel is required.  Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at times.
