Location:
Based in the vibrant and historic city of Galveston, TX, with opportunities for travel to diverse project sites within a 100–200-mile radius and beyond. This role offers a unique blend of stability and adventure, allowing you to make a significant impact while exploring different locations.

Schedule:
Full-time | Rotational (14 days on / 7 days off), designed to give you a balanced work-life dynamic, ensuring you have ample time to recharge between project assignments.

Compensation:
$95K - $140K per year, depending on experience, plus a $700 monthly allowance and a generous per diem for days worked. We value your expertise and ensure you are compensated fairly for your contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of marine dredging, civil construction, and infrastructure projects. Ensure each project meets client expectations and adheres to our high standards, leaving a tangible impact on the environment and community.

Strategic Pre-Project Planning:

  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications. Develop strategies that set the stage for success, ensuring every project starts on the right foot. You’ll be responsible for pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project estimation, making sure all elements align for a seamless execution.

Client & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Manage contracts effectively, ensuring that all project objectives align with client expectations. You’ll be the bridge between vision and reality, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Inspire and Lead Teams:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage diverse project teams, guiding them through challenges and triumphs alike. Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring every team member contributes to the project’s success and leaves with a sense of accomplishment.

Comprehensive Reporting & Documentation:

  • Provide consistent updates to clients and internal stakeholders, maintain detailed records, and oversee financial management. Ensure that every chapter of the project is documented, contributing to both the project’s success and continuous improvement for future endeavors.


Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects in marine, civil, or heavy infrastructure sectors, with budgets exceeding $50M.
  • Certifications: Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
  • Skills: Expertise in interpreting and managing construction contracts, plans, and specifications.
  • Attributes: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams to achieve project goals.
  • Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively within a 100-200 mile radius and work remotely as required by the project’s needs.

Preferred Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt to challenging project conditions, ensuring successful project delivery under all circumstances.
