POSITION SUMMARY

The Construction Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are meticulously planned, executed, and finalized according to the agreed standards for precision and quality.

This role operates under the guidance of the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Pre-Project Phase

a. Evaluation of project blueprints and specifications

b. Quantitative assessments and data evaluation


• Project Setup

a. Develop engineering and survey documentation

b. Selection and readiness of engineering tools


• Project Implementation


• Reporting Duties

a. Internal documentation (daily logs, production metrics, etc.)

b. Client updates


• Production Oversight

a. Data collection and interpretation


• Equipment Oversight

a. Management, care, and upkeep of survey and engineering tools


• Additional Responsibilities


• Engage in Safety and Environmental initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and enhance existing company programs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

The ideal candidate should possess:


• Familiarity with construction contracts and the capability to interpret plans and specifications


• Experience in hydrographic and conventional surveying


• Proficiency in Hypack and AutoCAD software


• Strong analytical and decision-making skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities


• Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures


• Adherence to safety regulations and protocols


• Capability to work efficiently and effectively


• Willingness to travel to remote project sites for extended periods


• Reliability and self-motivation


• Eligibility to obtain TWIC certification


• Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors


• Competencies in stress management, teamwork, and results orientation.

PREFERRED SKILLS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The candidate must be capable of fulfilling the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Additionally, the individual must be able to wear and properly utilize necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas. This includes hard hats, safety glasses, life vests, respirators, ear protection, steel-toed footwear, and other required protective gear.

Furthermore, a Construction Project Coordinator must also be able to:


• Navigate job sites, which may involve varying heights and access conditions.


• Stand, bend, twist, crouch, and sit for extended periods.


• Perform repetitive movements with limbs during work tasks.


• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs independently; for weights exceeding 30 lbs, additional assistance is required.


• Apply peak force of 150 lbs for pushing and pulling tasks.


• Climb stairs or ladders exceeding 6 ft in height.


• Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.


• Adapt to various environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations, outdoor elements, and exposure to noise and vibration.
